Making a Moodle course look easy to navigate!
Creating a course that ākonga can easily follow is half the battle! If a course looks cluttered and confusing, there is a good chance they will miss content and activities. When creating your Moodle page, it's important to make it look easy to read, easy to navigate, relatable, and be logical to follow! Here are some tips to help you create some great looking Moodle courses:
- Set the scene (e.g. provide overview of course, Learning outcomes, schedules, paper outlines etc). Signpost for the learners where they are heading!
- Create a layout that works for you and chunk your course content. For example collapsed topics, weekly topics and our personal favorite, Tiles (within tiles check out if you like the sub-tile setting!).
- Be consistent with headings, images, colours and structure.
